Jeffrey Wong, Muralist

Jeffrey is a local muralist in Pacifica. He started his art career at home. After painting nothing for 20 years, Jeffrey painted his first mural in his new bought home and threw a housewarming party. From there he got his first commission. He painted murals for homes, businesses and schools for the past 10 years while working his full time job as a chemical engineer. In 2017, he decided to go for a full time artist career. He is best known as the artist who painted the 70 foot Humpback Whale Sighting mural at Pacifica Boys’ and Girls’ Club at Yosemite Drive. Jeffrey’s favorite subjects are wildlife, landscapes, portraits and baseball. His style is impressionism alla prima. His favorite artists are Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet and John Singer Sargent. He is also a 20 year veteran surfer; his favorite surf breaks are the Pacifica Pier and Ocean Beach.
